This is "DIE GLÄSERNE MANUFAKTUR", or the Transparent Factory, a VW plant in Dresden, Germany.

Designed to be a marvel to tour it seems, this elevator has hardwood laminate floors (as does almost all the rest of the factory). Yet it's only used by an automated robot transporting the underbody of the car...
