Today.
The sun finally came out after
a week of rain
and storm.

The sun shined so bright
that it pained me
to sleep in.

Today
is the day
me and my orchid have
been waiting for.

Its stems ailing
waiting for
photosynthesis.

My mind slowing
waiting for
a new begining.

Perhaps
too late.

Perhaps
too long.

Perhaps,
waiting
is an act of foolishness.

Today
My orchid
grew weary
and
abadoned its
very last
leaf.

Today
I
grew weary
and
abandoned
my very last
hope.
