Szabadka / Subotica, Square of the Republic

Don't be fooled by the warm look - it was freezing cold. Unfortunately this is a rather fitting methaphor for Szabadka in Serbia - a town which still recalls its former grandeur at every corner, but where a bright new future still has to take shape. Under the greenhouse-like structure, they protect the marvellous tile-covered fountain from the frost. See also this Blip re: the subject.
