Birthday Fun

Today Tessa celebrated her birthday with six of her girlfriends. We were a little worried that the party would have to be cancelled as they were calling for blizzard conditions starting sometime in the afternoon. But the weather held up for the party and the girls had a blast outside getting tube rides behind the quad. The girls who were waiting for their turn were ambushing the tubers with snowballs as they went by. We had beautiful warm weather at plus four degrees Celsius - perfect for snowballs. By the time Ken came home from driving the girls home, the storm was just rolling in with the temperature dropping by 14 degrees in half an hour. It got really nasty very quickly. Happy to be safe and warm in our home this evening.
