Rose Monday, Carnival !!!

Taken from the TV, pic of the carnival procession in Mainz, one of the really big ones, equal to Köln, Dusseldorf etc. Here they threw, literally , 150 tons of sweets, 9000 bars of chocolate, and 12,000 posies of flowers into the crowds. The Procession was 7.5 kms long. Like the little hat on the horse, keeps flying sweets out of his ears !! The rider wasn't so serious all the time, I just caught him at a bad second !!!! Judging by the Orange balloons there were some Dutch in the crowd there, Orchid maybe? "Oranje na boven !!"
