A day of rest....

Awoke to a gorgeous morning this morning, and took this shot just after breakfast...looking across Lake Windermere from a private little jetty at Waterhead! Not that private...hence why I was there!! Outside YHA!!! Could barely decide between this and another shot with 4 gulls in it!! But the background is better in this one!!!

Then I headed off to church, looking forward to a great day ahead!!! NOT TO BE!!!! Driving the car after church and hear a loud crunch, crunch...then saw a great lump of metal shoot out the side of the car nearly assualting a poor couple out for a morning stroll!! Suspension knackered!!! RATS!!!!

That is why I'm blipping this now...having waited back at my accomodation for the lovely RAC!!! Good news...can still drive car!!! Yippee!! Don't have to go home a day early, and still this afternoon/evening here!! Bad news...have a several hundred pound bill ahead of me!!!! I will NEVER get a nice DSLR!!!!!! SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But not to offend my little friend....off out now with little TZ10, for more shots, coffee, and probably choc-coated ice-cream at Ambleside pier....Ohh, and a good read!!! BYEEEE!!!
