Not a tourist in sight!

This is quite a popular beach in the summer, but not today! Even Ollie drew the line at swimming and settled for a paddle, before going off to investigate a dead and stinking seal.

Had to got into the town this morning, even though it is my day off. I really resent having to, not least because petrol is now £1.13/lire, but needed hen feed and pony nuts. The sea was really wild and the tide was pretty high and the car got covered in spray a few times. Could hardly see through the window for the salt on them! I know I should go out and wash it, but it will rain soon enough - it always does!
