Late snow on Scald Law

When I lived in Penicuik as a teenager, my favourite of the Pentland range which was part of everyday life was beautiful Scald Law. I climbed Carnethy, next to it, but not Scald Law, which perhaps helped it keep its mystery. Over the years of visiting my parents and now, going to my sister's home, I have driven the 'high road' so many times, but I never take 'the view' for granted. Today, although I have cursed this late snow, I was again stunned by the hill's beauty.
