The Big Friendly Cucumber!?

Just finished reading The BFG to my daughter tonight - the ending took a little explanation - thanks Roald! Turns out the author of the book is The BFG, wow, she wasn't expecting that one. Thankfully, I was and she was happy with my explanation - the truth! Always goes down well I find, unless I'm asked 'does my bum look big in this?' (not my daughter) in which case the truth lingers for a while squirming before disappearing. Only to pop up again in a few days. Still the best policy though.
