back home... yay!

the sun is shining... no rain... double yay!!

temperatures are warm...

the ducks and geese missed me... in fact, they were having races today as evidenced by this fellow - running lickety split around me... there was a lot of honking going on as well... i couldn't quite figure out if it was because i was talking to them and they were talking back or if there was something else happening. whatever...

when i'd had my fill of sun, wind, pecking and honking, i glanced around telling all the little ones i might be back tomorrow for another visit. to my utter astonishment, one of the geese who was laying on the ground near my car actually got up, fluttered his feathers while making eye contact with me and then settled back down still looking at me. i said "okay baby...see you tomorrow.." and then he looked away. how funny is that?
