Out of the house

Yippee! We waved off our first guests, everybody happy :)

Then we got out of the house - long overdue a family day together. The routine of late has been one-of-us-with-kids-other-one-decorating. A bright spring day so we headed over to Silverdale for swimming, lunch, a couple of beers, then a walk on the beach. Then home to win the rugby (sorry Scots) and roast dinner and grandma's.

It would have been perfect were it not for the niggling worry about our close friends in Japan. They survived the quake fine but are just 40km from the Fukushima plant and are staying indoors awaiting news of whether they need to evacuate. I'm so worried about them, must be so terrifying with two little ones. Sending lots of positive thoughts and love to everyone out there, please join me xxx
