Playing in the kitchen
Today we headed north, to my grandmother's in law. After all the rain we had yesterday, today we had the most amazing day, sun and some clouds, gentle and nice, passing by and not staying with us.
After a nice lunch monster #2 dragged me out to play football... And then came monster #1, asking me to open the kitchen. So football game and sunbath ended. And cooking and eating time started.
This amazing kitchen belonged to somebody that one day decided it was time to make a cupboard out of it, and took it to a carpenter. When the carpenter saw it, proposed the following deal to the owner: I keep the kitchen and I build a new cupboard for you.
The lucky little girl who got that kitchen, the niece of the carpenter, was my mother-in-law, long long time ago. Now my kids enjoy it.
It used to be much more nicer, but, when it was restored for these kids, the man in charge of killing all the woodworm and painting it again, chose that green. Before the walls were biscuit and the cupboards light green.
It has a window, with glass, that you can open and close and lock. It has a water tank, so you can really use the taps. It has a dishwashing area and a cloth-washing area, separeted by another window. It has a fridge. It has a "fresquera" (Google Translate says it's a "meatsafe"). It has a little table, probably an ironing table. It has drawers. The sink is made of stone.
I think we spend more than an hour and a half playing with it.
PS: The kitchen is in the northern porch of the house. Another day I must shot it.
PS2: Just remembered, it's a kitchen with no stove!!! I need to do something to solve that...
