It Came In Handy...

...finally. When I bought an awning for the deck in June, 2007 it was delivered in a large cardboard tube. I kept the tube, or at least part of it (naturally). I wasn't sure what I'd do with it, but this was one of the ideas I had in mind. It just took me a long time to act on it. The new workshop was all the impetus I needed.

Of course, this will only encourage me to keep more wood scraps.

As I'm writing this, I can feel the house shuddering. No, it's not an earthquake, just another wind storm -- thank goodness.
