Remnants of days past

This is an old hand operated plow that sits in a corner of our yard. Once pressed into service every spring by our ancestors, now it is just a yard decoration. Makes you stop and think about how far we've come, with our power tillers and tractors. No more back breaking manual labor. So many things we take for granted. Are we better off?
