Nuts and bolts

It's disquieting to think how much of our life relies on nuts, bolts and screws: simple, trivial, basic objects which we bind our true existence to.

My thoughts goes to the people of the close Japan and to our fate that willing or not is currently linked to a piece of metal...like those tiny, round steel bolts that keep the nuclear reactor together and give our life a future.
