This is a view from the North looking across what used to be the North Field (in the days of the Open Fields).

Behind the church you can see the land rising up to the Yorkshire Wolds. We are on the very edge of the Vale of York.

It wasn't the ideal day for this or the ideal lighting but I knew it had to be done.

I went into York but saw nothing that caught my photographic eye at all.

PS. Today I walked further than I have done since I damaged my leg. It is slowly returning to normal.
