Tay Ghillie

Bad timing.....

Tomorrow is the start of the Brown Trout fishing season in Scotland. Unfortunately because of heavy rainfall and snowmelt further upstream there will be no fishing tomorrow and probably not for the rest of the week either. This is the salmon pass at Cramond on the River Almond, but there will be no fish running at this height. Fish cope fine with spates, but they don't like them as the silt irritates their gills.

The fish will still be there though, so another day.
