Lunchtime walk

Along the canal that runs through campus. Gorgeous spring day, sunshine yet crisp and chilly. Thick frost this morning. Cleared the cobwebs.

The building beyond the lock is one of the old mills that are dotted around hereabouts: now the home of the University's School of Education & Professional Development. Not a bad place to work.

I'm pleased with the lines in this shot: how the fence and wall draw the eye.
