Barred Owl

A little better lighting and he was up close on a low limb just checking me out.
Tomorrow I am going to try my canon and see what I can do to get a little more natural lighting into the shot. He is a beauty I could never get tired of seeing him. He hoots about three times a day. That's how I located him if he was in the right yard. He was up close I could tell but they are so quiet you really have to search them out. They can be right above your head and you would not know it. I had just about given up and low and behold there he was on a low branch right in front of me.
