Hovis is Scalped

Am on annual leave today so decided to have a practise run to work on my bicycle as I am intending to ride the 7.6 miles to work as and when (as I please and when the weather/feeling/wanting to is there!) I did it in 43 minutes which means I will have to leave for work slightly earlier...which might be a drag as I am one of those people who will be late for their own funeral but it's not a great deal of difference to going in the car. Lovely day today and pleased that I did the 15.2 miles round trip practically non-stop.

Then I took Hovis to the groomers. He was very hairy and overdue for a scalping...he hates it but now he looks like a new, if sad, dog and he feels like velvet which is why Rowan lay on him for most of the evening. Usual walk around the village and enjoying Spring...yehhh!
