Chasing squirrels

My dog lies at his spot at the bottom of the stairs, dreaming. Every so often he softly barks, and his legs pound at the air.

He's a happy, and very dopey, mutt without an aggressive bone in his body. He's loved by children and tolerated by my cats. He wouldn't hurt a fly.

'Cept in his dreams, where he's chasing squirrels..
