Woodland Fairies Dancing On the Pond

When I was little, my mom would say raindrop rings on wet streets and sidewalks were actually fairies dancing in the rain. I thought that was a beautiful sentiment.

Tree branches delivered large drops to leave wide rings, and small drops straight from dark gray skies made smaller rings on this growing pond. Woodland fairies were dancing all day on this pond.
