Adelaide Railyards being Transformed

The South Australian Government are building a brand new hospital on the old Adelaide Railyards between North Terrace and the Parklands. The company I used to work for did the geotechnical and environmental assessments for the project, to allow for it to proceed. Now the demolition guys are doing their stuff to prepare the site.

I pass it every day going to class and it is interesting how fast they tear down the infrastructure. The project is a Multi Billion Dollar Public Private Partnership.

Lots of demolition, digging, building and the like to be done before any patients are admitted.
