"Evolution"

This is the "Lapwing" or as I was brought up to call it the "Pee-Wit" Lapwings don`t usually arrive back until the snow has gone, as we had some late snow they`ve been caught out. This one seemed quite bemused by the whole thing, it actually fell over a couple of times, it`s leg would sometimes sink in the snow and it was left floundering.. I`ve never noticed this before but this one seems to have extended some kind of stableizer, perhaps I`ve discovered some local variation... Love the hair-do..........
