Passport

We had a hectic day trying to sort out Elizabeth's passport today. We wanted to get it all done and sent off today, because we've booked a trip on the 12th of April. That doesn't give us a lot of time.

I picked up an application form in the morning from the local PO. Got together our passport numbers and Elizabeth's birth certificate.

We went into the city and got her photos done. They are BRILLIANT! We managed to get her to stand on a seat in a photo booth. The staff kept coming to check on what we were doing and tried to push us to get it done professionally. They ate their words when they saw the finished result!

Then we filled out the forms, drove round to Jeff's friend to get him to sign the photo and fill out his part of the application form, then drove back to the PO in the city.

At the check and send counter, they told us that the signature on the photo was not the same as the one on the form. So we had to go back to the friend and get him to sign another form.

We made it back to the PO with 3 minutes to spare before they closed up!

They said that the passports are coming through really quickly at the moment and we should get it by the end of the week.

Anyway, the blip is Elizabeth riding the escalator. She loved it. But she cried when she couldn't go back on it! She was also super cute in chatting to a big poster of a baby in the shopping centre.
