Neues museum

On Museum Island in Berlin, housing this museum has exhibitions of pre- and early history. It is the building that is most interesting though, badly damaged in WWII and reopened only in October 2009. The building has been redeveloped very well, new and old matching well, and the damage to the building is shown in several places. I don't know if it is shrapnel damage in these pillars, but that is what it looks like, and this is the style of the building throughout.
