The life and times of....

By toucser

You gotta get past me first!

I had a later than intended start to the morning as my phone battery died in the night so I had no annoying alarm to wake me up. However, Lesley shouting from the living room can be a good contender for worst alarm call at times.

After dragging myself out of bed I still managed to make it to work on time! Nothing too special happening today at work - had a meeting with a few telephone provisioning colleagues who were up from Osterley (London) for a few days where we discussed executive escalation routes (Uber exiting stuff). Worked on a few data analysis ideas to measure staff trends (I'm sure there are easier ways than mine of doing these things. I doubt I'll ever fully master excel though!) and spent a good while scheduling staff training for the latest company changes (stimulating stuff). As if my 12 hour shift wasn't long enough I still managed to be late leaving work (becoming way to common!). I hate nothing more than when some sees you packing up, walking to the door and choosing that last moment to ask for something pointless that is nowhere to hand like an A3 envelope (A WHAT? I didn't even know they existed - God knows what they have to send out that needs an envelope that size? Bet the posty would love fitting that thing through the door). Well they weren't getting that fictional piece of stationary from me. I'm an A4 kindda guy so they just had to settle for what they got. Anyway my second dash for freedom proved more successfully and it was time for home.

Tasha, who Lesley had invited around for dinner, was at the house when I arrived in just before 9. We sat and chatted for a bit and as she had never had a go before, we got out the Playstation Move for a bit of a laugh. I'm glad to say that I have reclaimed my manhood that I lost yesterday during my defeat from Lesley and am once again at my rightful place at the top of the leader bored. Phew! I'll have to up my game though as Lesley has been feeling pretty run down all night and it was still a close call!

As for my photo today, well despite what I said yesterday, I complete forgot about it until just a minute ago so above is something I took a shot of just before bed. This wee guy has always freaked me out a little! I think he is the reject of the family as all the other ones are so nicely decorated. He looks like a little hard man despite being a representation of a woman - probably what is so freak about it!! Anyways off to bed.

Until we meet again.....
