Clever, or what?

Spotted behind me in the l o n g post office queue. First thought was ... It looks like a fight if you have to fasten that "stand" on each time you want to fold it up.
Longer inspections sussed out that, seeing the red reflector, AHA! it's the panier rack, which I discovered later in conversation, over the ceremonial Guinness or 4, that it also flicks around on the assembled bike to make a "Stand" for it.

At between £700-£1400 depending upon model, can you blame the owner for keeping it at hand?
