Hymns for Secular Society
Headed back home today and what a drive it was. It was like being in the opening scene of The Shining. Maybe you remember? The long sweeping roads with the car sailing through the mountains on a perfect winters morning - well it was just like that.
And the soundtrack? Today it was Bob Dylan's John Wesley Harding which I regard as a forgotten masterpiece.
'..and if you see a traveller
help him with his load
and don't go mistaking paradise
for that home across the road.'
Couldn't have put it better myself.
