A fading advertisement for a local newspaper - all six pages of it - on a house in Roujan which looks as though it's suffered a bit from the heavy rain we've had.

Today we found the road up to the gardens covered with stones and mud from the overflowing stream which had flooded all the way to the village place, about a kilometre, before the men from the mairie dug a trench across the road to take the extra water. Today, at last, after a week's non-appearance, the sun is struggling to come out.

I'm pleased that another set of my photos, for the recession assignment, has been reviewed on the Guardian Camera Club site, even if it is a rather odd review, I think.
