Spring challenge 2011 /2

The sun may not be shining today but the daffodils are.

Today the sky has been heavily overcast and dismal. I did my usual Thursday morning cooking at a local mental health social centre which was very satisfactory. This is my third voluntary session and the first time we were given the opportunity to choose the meal we were going to cook. We did a meat and potato pie with corned beef and a suet crust and a salad on the side. The general opinion was very favourable, second helpings were being had. It was true comfort food.
