Cops and Kids

I mentioned in yesterday's blip that the location of our building often results in "spectating" motorcades of important people. Some of these important people also are visitors to my organization: then we become the perpetrators of street closings and other traffic mayhem.

This was one such occasion. Some head of state was coming out of one of our buildings and cops rode ahead to close intersections. Kids from our daycare center, out on a walk, were stranded on the sidewalk until the VIP slipped away. Even they are jaded, not paying any attention to the commotion around them! Gotta love kids! :)
