River Arun mouth, Littlehampton

For those of you who have been intrigued by the 'kind of fence' in many of the photos from my window, here's a close up. It is actually the other side of the River Arun over by West Beach.

I've been testing out the 12x optical zoom plus digital on the new camera. This was about as far as I could push it and I was quite pleased. I reckon we're about 200 metres from the beach. At the moment I'm still using the 'intelligent' settings but I'll explore a bit more soon.
