Busy Day
I attended the funeral of an old friend's (Fiona) mother today in Braco. It got me thinking back to when Fiona and I first met which was when I started working in my first job in Dunblane way back in 1974. We were young, without a care in the world and had so much fun, both being quite extroverted types! Her mum and dad made me so welcome when visiting or staying at their house. We would all sit round the coal fire, drinking tea, getting teased by her dad while her mum made us something tasty from the kitchen. Fiona told me her dad would say to her "That Trisha is some lassie". They were happy times - special memories to treasure.
My daughter was also attending a funeral today, in Stirling, so Ben was dropped off by his dad late afternoon. He must be getting teeth soon as he is dribbling all the time (as you can see here). It was nice having him to ourselves for a wee while.
Giving my mum a tutorial on her I Pad this evening. She is picking is up well and has already installed an app called Angry Birds. Really there is not much to learn on the I Pad, just tap, tap tap!
