Blip-day-blip

Elements of a very good game

Take 15+ boys add an oval shaped ball, throw in another team, mix up with some mud, sweat and a few tears not to mention the odd bleeding nose.
Add in a few parents (I love the long shadows), some committed coaches and teachers. Sprinkle on some good passes, well aimed kicks, team work and tries.
Keep on some freezing cold grass for 60 minutes and what do you get . . . .

A very good game of rugby.

We went to watch the Blipster (he is the very bottom left player and his legs appear in a few other shots) and his wee (well not so wee now) cousine CD play for the school, sun shone but it was still cold. They all played really well Blipster scored 2 tries CD made some excellent passes and moves and the end result was a win we think 64:5 but we kinda lost count.

Hope Speedies team get on as well on Sunday . . . watch this space . . .
