Spent a considerable part of the day on the M4, and therefore in motorway service-stations. Urrghh; grim, desolate places. I think in part it's because no one looks as though they actually want to be there, including the staff who must surely be embarrassed about charging £2.99 for a cappuccino, and selling handy cushioned laptop trays for £9.99?

Anyway, at least M&S have moved in and you can now purchase Percy Pigs, so it just proves that there is a silver lining in each cloud.

I also came across the most cynical advertising I've ever seen..... on the back of the toilet door. Talk about targeting people when they're at their weakest!
