Reclining

I made a walk into the Mission with the Rolleicord, where I asked a local street musician (a Hispanic accordian player) if I could photograph him. He obliged. I also photographed a young man who had asked me about the camera. (It has become my practice to photograph anyone who makes mention of the Rolleicord.) Shortly after taking his portrait, I shot this bicycle on the same street.

I decided, then, since I was in the area, to walk up to the hill at Bernal Heights, one of the few hills I'd yet climbed. I regret that I'd taken so long to make the trek as the view from there is one of the most beautiful in the city.
