Offshore Survival Training EG style
For those of you out there who are unfamiliar with this situation everyone who works offshore must go through some form of survival training this is to give you some experience of having to escape from a helicopter that has crash landed in the sea or to escape from a rig should a life boat escape be unavailable.
In the UK this was normally done in a dedicated pool which was very cold had a wave and wind machine, they would switch the lights off and turn a fire hose on you at least that was in the good old non PC days. it gave you a good idea of what it could be like in the real situation.
Nowadays its like a dip in the bath or like here a dip in a hot bath.
Bring back the good old days.
