Holland girl
Today the Leopold 3 school had the wrap up exhibition of this year's project European Union. Every class had a different European Union country. Pippa's class had Greece, so they learned a little bit of Greek language, but also about mythology, mountains, islands, etc, etc.
Every class also prepared a typical snack of the country, so for Greece we tasted self made tzatziki and feta cheese. Of course we tasted some wine in France, had chocolate in Belgium and tomato and mozarella in Italy.
No guesses for what country Abbie's class had for their project... oh yes, we had to find everything orange in our house. Now, we're not really such big Holland supporters, but amazingly we could find quite a few orange items.
I nearly didn't make the exhibition, as the internship report took a lot longer than I expected to finish. Then I got stuck in traffic (it was raining and Friday afternoon, always a recipe for traffic chaos around Antwerp) delivering the report at University. However, I did make it at 5pm and managed to get a taste of most of the exhibition. Thankfully Bert was able to make it earlier than I, so the girls weren't too disappointed.
