SQUIRREL.

I must preface this post by saying that I have an irrational fear of squirrels. And chipmunks. This may be a result of an incident in high school that I don't like to think about, and was probably intensified by another incident in college involving a chipmunk and my foot...Anyway, they creep me out and our campus is full of them. Awesome. Today, as I was walking back to my dorm, I heard some rustling coming from the garbage can. Let me tell you, this is never a good sign. The last time I heard rustling coming from a garbage can, a raccoon jumped out of it and I thought I was going to die. True story. As I tried to will myself to walk past the garbage can this time, this squirrel popped out of it and started staring at me with its beady eyes. Super creepy. So naturally, I whipped out my camera and took a picture of it :) I would also like to point out that word on the street is that these trash cans cost thousands of dollars because they're "squirrel proof". I have now seen a raccoon AND a squirrel crawl in and out of them. I think we deserve a refund..


On a happier note, a friend gave me a SUPER COOL new pen to grade homework with! It's one of those clicky ones with different colors, and it has ten whole different colors!! It's pretty hefty, but also my new favorite toy. My notes are going to be so much more exciting now! Expect a picture in the future!
