The Curtain That Closed the Show @spamalotontour

The Alhambra in Bradford is a gem of a theatre. We went tonight to see Phill Jupitus in Spamalot. All I can say is "GO!!" For those of you who like Python, you'll know what to expect. For those of you who don't, don't worry!! It is very funny, the songs are great and the cast are very, very good. It's like an adult pantomime. Even Rebecca, for whom Python is like Erithromyacin (a foul tasting concoction that makes her sick), really enjoyed herself.

Last night, at the interval, the Safety Curtain really did close the show. It fell down onto the stage and they couldn't continue with Act Two!! Nothing happened like that tonight, except Mr Jupitus got the giggles - as he did the last time we saw him in Hairspray. Which just adds to the fun.

Oh, and Jodie Prenger has a belting voice.
