Red Toes Day

Katie and Dad went for a cycle to the beach this morning. We had a great time getting our toes wet, Katie loves to be "out there" and she's a perfect little subject. "Katie, walk over there." And she does. Then she stopped and explored the seaweed and was just Very Katie. <snap>

The boys spent most of the after-school day at their friends houses so "the K & I" spent the day pretty much alone together. And how lovely was that. My little pea.

She cycled and cycled today, she drew tons of pictures, she was quiet when Daddy was on the phone for work, she was up & down the street getting the boys out of their houses.

Music: I've gone back again and again to the Kronos Quartet's Plasma which came to me on the Songlines 75 CD. Astonishing.
