The cheese report.....

So the blip is a bit of a cheat.....it's a shot of part of a leaflet I picked up last night at 'the science of cheese do' that just happened to be lying on the kitchen table this morning.....someone else did all the hard work (and I've obviously got an in-built-easy-blip-survival strand in my genetic make-up.......see, some of the science DID sink in!)

It was an excellent night that kicked off with all us punters/seekers after profound scientific insight making our own cottage cheese/paneer from hot Jersey milk and lemons (bowls and sieves provided) to scoff as our final course with set French jam.....also appearing on the menu were a combination of 7 other cheeses (mega portions) mountains of bread, fruit, fruit cake, nuts and accompanying wines, cider and cocktails.....let's just say a good time was had by all.....we rolled home.

PS....The next 'Science through the medium of alcohol" event sounds like a must....an amalgamation of two themes, 'the summer solstice' and 'Tiki cocktails'......I'll be there!
