Des Res

Passed this old tree today, just a few metres from the path. Looked in the hollow and found the remains of last year's nest. It's only about half a metre from the ground, which made me wonder whether the family would have survived.

So Bird Blippers out there, should I go back tomorrow with my marigolds and duster to clean out the old nest and make it into a Des Res again?
