Busker takes a break

Apparently it was a slow day for busking, according to a conversation I overheard between two street musicians today, despite the city being absolutely packed with good-natured people enjoying the brilliant blue skies and sunshine.

I gave myself a break too from being fearful and anxious about the future and spent a lovely couple of hours really thinking about how I was using my camera, what I could actually do with it and reflecting on some of the 'mistakes' I made yesterday.

I was expecting to photograph a 'peaceful protest' in the city centre but couldn't find it. Maybe the organisers thought the weather was too nice for protesting so had a picnic instead. Who knows ....
