A new leaf.....
Took myself to the DeSoto National Memorial today for a fresh air outing. It's one of my favorite places. As usual, there was lots to photograph and I had no trouble adding about 60 to my albums in IPhoto. Driving home, I happened to see this Great Egret, and a beautiful display of Bougainvillea which I've posted on flickr for you to see.
The new Sea Grape leaves really caught my eye today. They're a bright rusty-orange, waxy, and translucent. I'm very much the amateur photographer and take photos of things I love. I don't worry too much about photo quality or composition. My blip today feels like a real photograph, however, and not just a lucky snapshot.
