Going round in circles!

An interesting day today. Dogs fed & walked so off I went to a vintage tractor ploughing competition.En route I stopped at St Conans Kirk on the Oban road and got a few nice shots. I was at the ploughing comp last year and took photos of just about every farmer type there (I liked their rugged features and Im sticking to that!) This year the light was all wrong but I still managed a few shots. This was just outside Oban so after that I kept on driving in a circle towards Canassarie Castle where some story teller guy was telling a story of Canassaries turbulent history and he was accompanied by a Gaelic singer.
The performance was absolutly mobbed (being free may have had a bearing on this!) While it was all very interesting I could not help but wonder why do the Scots leave the telling of their history to non Scots? Perhaps its because many who would consider themselves real Scots are too busy watching guys chasing round after a ball! and cant be bothered with their real heritage!

Anyhow and altogether different sort of day and quite enjoyable too.
