Time to redecorate

When we moved into our house a couple of years back it was a pparent that the last people to decorate, while keeping the place clean, had very odd tastes in colours. We had to redecorate rapidly. Since it's a large house and we were keen to do it all prior to moving in we did most of the rooms visitors would see but left a couple like our bedroom and my work room. My work room is a really odd shade of green, but the bedroom was a really odd shade of purple (well, teo odd shades actually as the original paint had clearly run out half way through a wall and they switched to a slightly different shade) with cerise doors.

We've decided enough is enough and it's got to go. It's getting painted tomorrow in antique white. The room has now been emptied out and the shelves taken down. It just needs a quick sugar soap and it's ready to go. thank goodness.

This is the result of taking down the shelves and the green is similar to the stuff in my work room which is having to wait a while yet.

Still, if you think today's blip is dull wait until you see the entries for the next coupel of days, it'll be like watching paint dry.
