18 Months Old - Washer Woman
Had a nice lie in today as H's dad got up with her this morning (although it was around 10am the lazy thing!) Played out in the garden for a while and did the food shopping, before tucking into Dominos pizza for dinner.
H helped out with the washing, loading everything into the tumble dryer. I had to switch it on every 5 minutes though as she kept turning it off again! I am amazed that she knows how to turn the dial and which button to press to turn it on and off.
H is 18 months old today, and is full of fun just now - today in particular she was charging about like a maniac, chattering away.
At 18 months, she weighs 23lbs and is almost 0.8m in height (roughly as we can't get her to stand still long enough to measure properly).
Her vocabulary is coming along, and she has a reasonable repertoire, her current favourite being "more" anytime anything finishes! She understands so much it's fascinating, and the favourite party piece at the moment is to recite most of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with actions, and do all the animal noises in time to Old MacDonald. And she still loves her books more than anything, and won't go to bed without a book to cuddle!
She is wonderful, and I am totally in awe of her.
