Wooden Pub Tour, London
Back-blip, around 7 months later.
This is the Flask in Highgate, highly recommended. It was the first pub on the now legendary "Wooden Pub Tour" with the family around Hampstead Heath. We took a leisurely walk over several hours, stopping off at various public houses along the way. A long slow stewing of the liver.
The next pub was something nick-named the "Henry Kelly Bar" just because my sister saw him there once. I don't know the real name. Next up was the Holly Bush, an excellent, incredibly wooden pub with great beer. The Spaniard's Inn was next, and we ended up there for quite some time. Final stop was the Wrestler's (Arms?), back in Highgate, though I must admit it gets a tad hazy at that point.
Cracking day out. Good times, good times.
